The more previews they release of this show, the more intriguing I find it to be. Season premiere is this Wednesday, the 11th, 8/7c on NBC.

It has to be better than "Chopped." Am I the only one that finds Ted Allen rather annoying as a host (including Food Detective)? He seems to over do it. And I really liked him as judge on TC and Iron Chef.
I don't think it's Ted so much as the Food Network. They want over-the-top, so he plays that way. They should leave those shenanigans to idiots like Guy Fieri.
